A city centre street was once again taken back to the 1770's as filming continues for a hit TV show.
Canning Street in the Georgian Quarter has been transformed into 1770s Philadelphia for the filming of the seventh season of Outlander. Left Bank Pictures Ltd (LBP) wrote to residents last month laying out plans to transform it back to the eighteenth century.
The letter seen by the ECHO showed plans to meet with neighbours and residents ahead of filming starting last month. LBP Pictures Ltd said they would be closing Canning Street to ensure necessary access and a safe working area in two different stages.
