After three years of waiting, "Stranger Things" season 5 is finally streaming on Netflix. Well, some of it is, at least. Yes, to extend the hype a little bit longer, the streaming service's hit sci-fi/horror drama has been split up into three separate volumes.
The first four episodes of this final chapter arrived at the end of November, but we've got to wait until the end of the year to truly see how the final battle between Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the Hawkins gang and their terrifying final boss, Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).

'Stranger Things' season 5 release schedule
As I mentioned, Netflix has chosen to divide "Stranger Things" season 5 into three parts, all set for release within the final months of 2025.
"Stranger Things" season 5's first volume contained episodes 1-4, volume 2 consists of episodes 5 through 7, and the "Stranger Things" season 5 final will follow on its own a few days later.
That finale will be a feature-length adventure, too: Netflix recently confirmed a runtime of 125 minutes for episode 8, and teased that it'll have limited fan screenings in select theaters across the US and Canada.
