Take cover, Tories... Stormzy is returning to the BRITs stage.
The grime star last performed in 2020, two years after he took aim at the then-Prime Minister Theresa May over her Government’s lack of support for Grenfell victims.
A Labour supporter, Stormzy has a lot of material if he wants to criticise the Tories for what they have done in the past two years, and has three Prime Ministers he could call out.
Back in 2018, the Londoner was named Best Male Solo Artist and took home the Album of the Year award.
During the show, he performed a medley of his hits, including bangers Blinded By Your Grace and Big For Your Boots.
Then he added a new freestyle, during which he asked the Prime Minister: “Theresa May, where’s the money for Grenfell? Just forgot about Grenfell, you criminals, and you got the cheek to call us savages, you should do some jail time, you should pay some damages.”
This year, he is nominated for three BRITs, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act.
Harry Styles, Sam Smith and Lizzo will perform on the night too.
The ceremony takes place at London’s O2 Arena on February 11 – a Saturday, for the first time ever.
Earlier this month the BRIT Awards tried to explain the reason why no women are nominated for Artist of the Year at next month's ceremony.
The lack of female acts in the running to take home Artist of the Year at The 02 Arena on February has sparked a heated debate on social media - with many questioning just why no women are nominated for the huge honour.
Harry Styles, rapper Central Cee, DJ Fred again, pop singers George Ezra and and Stormzy are all in with a chance of adding the Artist of the Year gong to their trophy cabinet in a few weeks time.
Just 17.6% of artists originally shortlisted last year for the award were women, and included Mabel, Florence and the Machine, Charli XCX, Becky Hill and Rina Sawayama - but none of the talented female stars made the final cut when the final nominations were announced.
