Much of the North West is being battered by wet and windy conditions as the UK continues to feel the fallout of Storm Claudio.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning. While the warning just misses Liverpool, many parts of Merseyside are affected, including Formby, Southport and Crosby.
Warnings are in place due to an area of low pressure pushing a spell of rain and wind from the Irish Sea.

The warnings are in place until 9pm today (Wednesday), with the Met Office warning of possible delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport while short-term loss of power is also a possibility.
Storm Claudio left chaos in its wake as it swept through France, before heading across the Channel to the UK.
Amid flood warnings, experts at Confused.com, are urging homeowners to act quickly and to do two things in particular. Jessica Willock from Confused.com told the ECHO : "There are ways you can protect your home which could help to avoid or minimise damage, such as clearing gutters and inspecting roof tiles.
“You might already have cover for flood damage in your buildings and contents insurance, but the level of cover could vary. Always check the level of cover before committing to buy. If you need more protection, you might be able to add flood insurance to an existing policy or take it out separately."
