Gustavo Scarpa has quickly become a fan favourite following his move from Palmeiras to Nottingham Forest and the calls for him to go straight into the team are only getting louder.
The Brazilian attacker impressed in the Reds' 2-1 friendly win over Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium, replacing Jesse Lingard off the bench on the hour mark. He soon set up Emmanuel Dennis for the winner with a lovely flick.
Forest supporters will have to wait until January before they can see the 28-year-old in competitive action, but they are salivating at the prospect of him putting in similar performances in the Premier League. Here is what some of the fanbase have been saying on Twitter about Scarpa:

Matthew Warriner: Excellent signing. I thought Gustavo gave Forest a speed that was at time lacking this season, and he was able to pivot the play brilliantly. I have no doubt the team will be highly motivated now to play to this new, inspiring hub. Build the team around Scarpa.
Sam Marriott: Now I understand why there’s thousands of Brazilians worshipping Scarpa under every post on Forest’s Instagram. My god he looks sick #NFFC
Ethan Lamb: Excited is an understatement. Can’t wait to see Gustavo Scarpa in the Red of Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Steve Gibson: I’m one decent Premier League Scarpa performance away from getting a skateboard and headband #NFFC
Carl Jenkinson: I think we all need to calm down and accept the reality is probably top 4 finish rather than winning the Prem this season...... Bloody hell he did look good.
Freddie: When Scarpa, Freuler, Aurier, Niakhate all start together we will beat anyone.
Grande1999: Scarpa can never be a bench in this team, I hope Cooper puts him in the starting lineup, Scarpa, Gibbs-White, Johnson, has to be the front of Forest.
Grant: Good early signs from Gus Scarpa. He just looks like he has fitted right in. Good awareness. Best Dennis has played in a red shirt. Looking decisive in his actions instead of weak & slow in what he wants to do.
Forest Argentina: For me the attack trident must be Gibbs-White, Taiwo, Dennis. Maybe I could take Dennis off and put Scarpa on the right.
Forest Watch: Gustavo Scarpa, the new Forest genius.
