Brennan Johnson question asked
Steve Cooper has questioned where Nottingham Forest would be without Brennan Johnson.
The 21-year-old has been the shining light for Forest after a difficult season in their return to the top flight. Johnson has often carried the team this season, becoming the top scorer with 10 goals and two assists in all competitions.
Ahead of a crucial final few weeks, Forest need their homegrown star to make a difference that will determine the club's fate. And Cooper is backing Johnson to guide the club to safety just like when he played a significant contribution in their promotion campaign last season.

Forest receive angry response
Nottingham Forest fans gave their immediate reaction to defeat against Manchester United at the City Ground .
The Reds went into the game looking to pick up points to allow them to climb out of the relegation zone. Steve Cooper ’s men sat in 18th place in the Premier League table and are in the bottom three on goal difference.
That is how the table will stay, following a 2-0 loss against Erik ten Hag’s side. Goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot either side of half-time ensured that the Red Devils took all three points back to Old Trafford with them, and left Forest 10 games without a win in the Premier League.
Cooper blasts Man Utd decision
Head coach Steve Cooper is anticipating an apology from the PGMOL after a potentially “game-changing” decision in Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.
The Reds argued a penalty should have been given for a handball against Harry Maguire in the first half at the City Ground , when the score was still 0-0 and the United defender was already on a booking. But referee Simon Hooper waved away the appeals, and his verdict was not overturned by VAR.
The visitors went on to clinch victory through goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot. Cooper is expecting to hear from the Professional Game Match Officials Board, in the same way they admitted a mistake had been made by not awarding Brighton and Hove Albion a spot-kick against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Aurier drops injury hint
Nottingham Forest full-back Serge Aurier has hinted that he may not be too far away from returning from injury, with the defender sending a message to Forest fans.
The former Tottenham man has missed the last four Premier League games after picking up a knock while on international duty with the Ivory Coast. Forest have lost all four games, with the latest seeing them fall to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United at the City Ground on Sunday.
The poor run has seen Forest drop into the relegation zone ahead of the final seven games of the season. However, only goal difference separates them and Everton in 17th position.
