Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the star said there was some "big news incoming".
On Wednesday, he tweeted: "24 hours to go folks! Big news on its way!". Fans were clearly becoming impatient, with many asking him what it was. Stephen kept tight-lipped though, simply adding: "I’m really excited! You’re going to love it! x".
Stephen has now finally revealed his huge news. In a tweet on Thursday, he said: "Unbelievably excited to tell you about my magical debut children’s book, Max Magic!
"An adventure celebrating friendship, family and magic for kids aged 7-12. Can’t wait to share it with you when it hits the shelves on Sept 1st!"
Stephen's dad Christopher taught him the art of magic at the age of 11, inspiring what would become a lifelong passion. A young Stephen first started doing magic tricks during family holidays in Butlin’s, eventually earning a membership in the elite club The Magic Circle.
In the 2000s he hosted magic shows and sold magic sets for children to try out tricks at home.
