In the 2000s he hosted magic shows and sold magic sets for children to try out tricks at home. One such show was the Ministry of Mayhem - and one episode saw him perform a "magic trick" on a boy called Lewis.
Some 18 years later, Lewis shared a clip of the show on Twitter. In the footage, Stephen can be seen with a pint glass full of red liquid.
He takes a sip before telling Lewis: "Have you ever seen that trick magicians do where they put some card over the drink, tip it upside down and it stays inside the glass?". Lewis said he had.
But a sneaky Stephen removed the card, and Lewis was left drenched. Stephen looked at the camera and said: "Still can't do it!".
Stephen shared Lewis' tweet and said: "Hopefully my magic tricks have got slightly better since then! Sorry Lewis!". Fans were loving the throwback video.
Michele Corston said: "Brilliant Stephen, love watching these again bet it brings back lots of lovely memories for you". Sarah said: "This did make me chuckle. Good sport!"
Heidi-Jade Sargent said: "Aww Stephen you're so cheeky and your magic tricks are unbelievable!". Tiegen Wright said: "The real question is can you do the magic trick now".
