Stephen Flynn writes to MSPs after admitting he did not know of ferry gas leak

STEPHEN Flynn has written to the Holyrood Transport Committee to say that “passenger safety was not compromised” during a flammable gas leak on a Scottish ferry.

On Wednesday, the SNP Transport Secretary came under heavy fire after he was unable to answer LibDem MSP Willie Rennie’s questions about the uncontrolled escape of flammable gas on the Glen Sannox ferry in June 2025.
