Draymond Green‘s indefinite suspension has rocked the Golden State Warriors. The veteran forward is a core part of Steve Kerr‘s rotation and has been integral to the franchise’s 10-year dynasty.
However, the focus is on helping Draymond in his personal life rather than focusing on how his absence can affect the basketball court.
During a recent media appearance, Steph Curry noted he will support his teammate however he can. Curry will be there as a sounding board for Green and wants to help him through the coming weeks and months as best as he can.
“Just to be supportive,” Curry said. “I don’t necessarily know the program, the requirements, or the things he needs to do. But I’m here as a friend or the support that he needs to lean on while being there for him, whatever that means. … Every day is a new challenge, literally. And, that is something that we have to be there and be support for him.”
Green will be unable to return to the court until he’s met requirements laid out by the league and the Warriors front office. The focus is on helping him work through his current issues so his physical outbursts no longer take place.

Green has been teammates with Curry for his entire career. There is undoubtedly a strong friendship between the two. As such, Green should rest assured that the Warriors’ star guard will be there to help him however possible. Golden State fans hope that when Green returns, he can help his team by putting in consistent performances on the court and not causing any more distractions.
