New car prices continue to hover around $50,000, and the selection of affordable ones continues to dwindle. Stellantis is trying to counter those rising costs with several new models priced under $40,000.
At this week's Automotive News Congress in Detroit, Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa said that there is a “huge opportunity” for Stellantis to launch more affordable models, according to The Detroit News. The automaker plans to introduce nine new cars with prices below $40,000.
