Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett came back last week just four days after suffering what looked like a serious rib injury and played on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans. It was a Ben Roethlisberger-esque showing of fortitude but if Pickett wasn’t 100 percent, you couldn’t blame him.
But this week, when the Steelers take on the Green Bay Packers, Pickett said he’s good to go. “I feel good. You know staying with the trainers, doing some extra things to make sure I’ll be 100 percent on Sunday.”
Pickett has had a forgettable season aside from his continued skill in late-game theatrics. Through eight games, Pickett has 1,490 passing yards and the Steelers passing offense is No. 24 in the NFL. Pickett has started every game this season and went 5-3 in eight starts in 2022 as a rookie.
