Depth has been tested to the max in their secondary, but the Pittsburgh Steelers got some good news today with the return of safety Elijah Riley to practice.
Though he currently remains on injured reserve, Pittsburgh has a 21-day window to activate him to the 53-man roster.
Riley landed on injured reserve after hurting his ankle in a collision with Cam Heyward in their Week 11 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
In 10 games this season, Riley’s logged seven tackles, including three solo stops, one sack and two tackles for a loss.
