One of the hallmarks of the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise has always been consistency. But over the last five seasons, the trend the Steelers have been on is nothing to be excited about.
According to CBS Sports, the Steelers are one of only 11 teams to be winless in the playoffs over the last five seasons. The full list includes teams like the Detroit Lions, New York Jets and New York Giants.
Pittsburgh has become a regular-season team over the last half-decade. Able to stay competitive during the regular season, eek out enough wins to not finish under .500 but fail to see success in the postseason.
The Steelers made the playoffs in three of the last five seasons. Going back even further, Pittsburgh is 3-7 in its last 10 playoff games going back to 2011. The Steelers last played in the conference championship in 2016 and last won the AFC in 2010.
Not exactly a list you would expect the Steelers to be on. pic.twitter.com/wNgRe4zrFo
