Sir Keir Starmer has said the UK’s special relationship with the US does not rely on hanging on President Trump’s every word (House of Commons/UK Parliament/PA Wire) - (PA Wire)

Sir Keir Starmer insisted the special relationship with the US would endure despite Donald Trump’s personal attack on him.

Mr Trump lashed out at the Prime Minister over his initial refusal to allow British bases to be used for raids against Iran, saying “this is not Winston Churchill that we’re dealing with”.
