'Star Wars Outlaws' Jet Kordo's Legacy Guide: All 6 Vault Locations

— Ubisoft

Star Wars Outlaws has a vast galaxy to explore, filled to the brim with treasures to uncover, crime lords to double-cross, and secrets to find. Exploration is at the heart of everything in Outlaws, and that’s especially true with the game’s most obtuse side quest: Jet Kordo’s Legacy.

For this quest, Kay follows in the footsteps of another scoundrel and the former owner of her ship, the Trailblazer. As a reward for all this effort, you can get some vital upgrades and the fittingly named Scoundrel Gear Set. But finding these vaults is one of the trickiest parts of Star Wars Outlaws, so luckily, we’ll help walk you through how to find each and every one throughout the galaxy.

How to Find Jet Kordo’s vault on Toshara in Star Wars Outlaws

After completing the main story quest The Wreck, you’ll unlock the quest Jet Kordo’s Legacy. Inside your ship, interact with the marked Holodisc. ND-5 will then tell you all about the former owner of the Trailblazer and the vaults he hid throughout the galaxy. One of those vaults just so happens to be on Toshara, and the Holotracker gives you a vital hint as to where.

Press right on the D-pad to bring up the tools and select it. You’ll see a hologram pop up with a specific location on Toshara and a red mark for where you need to find the vault. This is how finding the vault on every planet works.

For this one on Toshara, the hint is pointing you toward Typhon’s Rock; specifically, a small building to the SouthWest of it. Head to the point on the map above and find the rock with Jet Kordo’s mark on it.

After interacting with the rock, you’ll activate the tracker. You’ll need to follow the sound to find the vault itself. This is basically an audio version of hot-and-cold. The noise will beep faster and louder if you’re heading in the right direction and as you get closer.

For this one, from the rock, head down the slope to your left and look for an outcropping of shiny orange rocks. Head over there and follow the trail of rocks through a circular tunnel.

Keep following the path and you’ll see it go down into a cave on your right side, you’ll want to go into that cave.

Keep following the noise and check the left side of the cavern’s walls. You’ll see a small keycard slot, so interact with it and a ladder will drop down from the ceiling.

Head up the ladder to find the vault and your rewards — a bacta upgrade and the Scoundrel Belt.

How to Find Jet Kordo’s vault on Kijimi in Star Wars Outlaws

Kijimi is smaller than the rest of the planets in Outlaws, but that doesn’t mean its vault is any easier to find. The trick here is that you have to overhear a conversation to get the quest to even pop up in your journal. The location you need is on the map above, but from the landing pad head to the East and go to the Wellspring area. Two citizens will be leaning on a bridge talking, and Kay can lean right next to them to eavesdrop.

This will get you the quest, so track it and follow the objective to find a couple in the Thieves District to talk to, then a cantina nearby with a game of Sabaac that rewards the holodisc. Bring the holodisc up and it shows the pillar in Kijimiko Square.

Head there and find the rock right next to the pillar. This will activate the tracker so follow the noise down to the SouthWest toward the Thieves District. Follow the path all the way until the end, and then turn up and to the right into a little alcove.

There’s a brown door on your right after you ascend the stairs, the entrance to the vault, and the holodisct slot to unlock it is on the opposite side at the top of the other set of stairs.

This time around your reward is the Direct Transaction Sabaac chip.

How to Find Jet Kordo’s vaults on Tatooine

Both Tatooine and Akiva have two vaults for you to find. For both of these planets, you’ll need to find the vaults in a specific order, meaning you can’t do the second one until you’ve done the first. As a note, finding the Tatooine vaults can be quite a bit easier if you have a good reputation with the Hutt Cartel, so you might consider doing that.

First Vault - Buried Vault

Keep playing through the main story until you’ve completed the mission “The Heavy.” At this point, you’ll be able to take on the Tatooine Vault missions, so head back to Wayfar, the settlement you started in when you landed on the planet. Follow the mission markers to find two engineers talking about the holodisc, at which point you can either pay 50 credits to get the info or use a Hutt contact if you have the reputation.

Now head to the Eastern side of Mos Eisley to the Ubrikkian Trade Tower. This time find another two NPCs chatting for your next clue, one of which is wearing a green cloak.

Now you finally need to follow your marker to the Western Dune Sea in search of the lost treasure hunter. Head to the point on the map below and look for a crashed speeder.

Follow the trail in the sand left by the speeder to a small cave in the North-West. Beat some of the roaming Massiff enemies, go into the cave, and interact with the traveler’s pack to find the holodisc. Now you can finally look for the vault.

Luckily, the rock to start the search is also in the Western Dune Sea, just head to the point on your map with three rocks in order.

The smallest rock is the one you need so activate the tracker. As a note, there is a Krayt Dragon roaming nearby, just make sure to keep a wide berth from it.

Follow the tracker’s noise to the SouthWest and look for a massive metal container jutting out of the ground.

The holodisc slot is simply on the side of the container, so insert it, use your ion module to blast the device that pops up, and enter the vault.

Second Vault - Perched Vault

Now for the second vault, thankfully the easier of the two. Head to the city of Bestine, which is Imperial Territory so make sure you don’t rustle up too much trouble. When you land talk to the Speeder Mechanic in the landing pad, and just beside him you’ll see two NPCs having a conversation.

Talk to them and you’ll find out a group of pirates have your holodisc at Garrick Ranch, to the South.

The building with the holodisc has two doors, and you need to enter the first one to find the disc inside. You can either stealth around the pirates to get it, or simply blast your way through everyone.

Now you can find the rock and isolate the frequency. For this step head to the South Jundland Wastes, specifically the camp of the trader Tretet Zadiket, which we’ve marked on the map below. Once there you’ll find the rock literally right next to the trader’s tent.

One the device has been started, head to the EAst from Tretet and look for a series of small caves to travel through.

As soon as you can take a left and climb up three rocks, then keep following that to a platform you can jump off of to another platform. Continue following the path and take a right, you’ll kno

After that start climbing the wall straight ahead, but instead of dropping down after you climb to the right follow the giant arrow and head straight up.

At the end of the wall climb up and you’ll see a brown door right in front of you, with the holodisc slot right next to it.

How to Find Jet Kordo Vaults on Akiva

Again, you’ll have to find these two vaults in order, but you should be able to do this as soon as you arrive on Akiva, if you want to.

First Vault - Overgrown Vault

For your first step simply head to the Market District in Myrra and talk to the merchant at the point on the map below. All you need to do is purchase the holodisc for 100 credits.

Now, to find the rock with the frequency you’ll be heading to a location called Delma Water Tower, on the Southern part of the map.

The easiest way to get there is to go to the nearby Salea’s Hand camp, then head NorthWest until you see a fallen tree as a bridge to the water tower.

The rock itself is tucked away against some ruins to the East of the tower, just past a bunch of spiky red thorns.

The beeps from your device will lead you back to Salea’s Hand, and after you head over the fallen tree, go to your right and find a bunch of ruins in the middle of the area.

The holodisc slot is hidden on some bricks in the ruin, you can see its location in the screenshot below but follow the beeps getting louder if you’re having trouble.

After you’ve inserted the disc a hole will open on the ground in front of you, so drop down into the vault itself.

Second Vault - Forgotten Vault

For this vault you’ll, once again, need to head into Hutt territory, so a good reputation with them goes a long way. You’ll need to head into the Hutt territory on the East side of Myrra, the area called “Satrap’s Promenade.”Once there find the two Hutt cartel members talking in the middle alleyway, which will tell you to head to Hutt territory on the other side of the map by The Cauldron lake.

You’ll have a vague area to search, and you’re actually looking for a green Rodian that has the holodisc.

As soon as you see him, if you’re tracking the quest, he’ll be marked by an icon over his head. You can either pickpocket the disc using Nix, or blast down the Rodian and loot it.

Now that you have the disc, the location will show you a small island sitting smack-dab in the middle of The Cauldron. You’ll need to have the upgrade for your speeder to ride over water, so if you don’t have that keep following the main story until you do.

Now head to the point on the map below and find the small rock on the tiny island sitting just to the West of the big island.

After that you’ll want to head straight North to a big group of rocks hanging down fro the top of the map. Head into the cave-like area and go to the right side.

You want to look for a hidden speeder ramp on the right side of the area, which will let you jump your speeder across the gap.

Once you’ve landed you can see the vault straight ahead, with the holodisc slot right next to the door.

How to Find Jet Kordo’s final vault

There’s a small twist with Jet Kordo’s legacy as there is technically one more vault to find after the main six. Fortunately, that vault is simply a secret room hidden in the very first vault on Toshara. Simply head back there, interact with the new holodisc slot, and reap your rewards — the final piece of the Scoundrel outfit.
