Staind, the American rock band, made a notable return in 2023 after a prolonged period of inactivity. Their latest album, 'Confessions of the Fallen,' marked their comeback, accompanied by the release of several singles from the project. Despite their hiatus, the band quickly regained attention and found themselves back on the Billboard chart.
This week, Staind reappeared on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart with one of their recent hits, 'Here and Now,' securing the 25th spot. Originally released as a single from 'Confessions of the Fallen' in the previous year, the track had previously peaked at No. 8 on the same chart in late December of 2023. 'Here and Now' has now spent a total of 21 weeks on the chart, solidifying its position as Staind's longest-running hit in this category.
Staind, known for their hard rock sound, has only managed to place two tracks on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart to date. 'Here and Now' stands as their sole top 10 hit on the chart, narrowly missing the mark with their other entry, 'Lowest in Me,' which peaked at No. 11 in August 2023.
The resurgence of Staind on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart coincides with the success of lead singer Aaron Lewis's latest solo album, 'The Hill.' While the album secured a spot in the top 10 on the Top Album Sales ranking, it failed to replicate this achievement on other Billboard charts. Notably, 'The Hill' debuted at No. 175 on the Billboard 200, marking Lewis's lowest-charting title on the prestigious list.
