Swimmers will be left out in the cold this weekend when the Dollan Aqua Centre closes early due to staff shortages.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC) will close the East Kilbride swimming pool and gym on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm - with last entry at 2.30pm.
The news is sure to be a disappointment to members and families looking to entertain the kids during the summer holidays.
A post on their Facebook page reads: 'Due to a shortage of staff on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17, our swimming pool and gym will close to the public at 3pm.
"Last entry 2.30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.'
SLLC told Lanarkshire Live: “Due to a temporary shortage of reception cover, the pool will close 45 minutes earlier on Saturday and an hour earlier on Sunday.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause to customers.”
