Stacey Solomon's son tricked his mum into parting with more cash than expected - but it was for a good cause. The Loose Women star revealed how her son got her to sponsor him £110 for his latest fun run.
Nine-year-old Leighton asked his mum to sponsor him a 'good amount'. She agreed £5 a lap after he told her he'd probably only do a few as it's a 'big field'. Stacey, 32, was pleased on Wednesday (May 25) as she was actually able to attend the event, admitting she usually misses out on them and sports days due to work.
"Just got back from Leighton's fun run... I miss out on a lot of the sports days and fun runs because I work away a lot and Leighton thoroughly saw an opportunity to make this one," she wrote alongside a video of the pair she shared with her millions of followers on Instagram.

Speaking in the video on her Instagram Story alongside Leighton at their stunning home, Pickle Cottage, Stacey said she was 'so excited' to support her son. "I was really excited and I feel like Leighton took advantage of me," she tried to say with a stern look as her son gave a wry smile.
"He said, 'you sponsor everyone per lap, I'll only do three maybe four because it's a big field and there's a time limit'. So in 15 minutes how many laps did you go round?" Responding to his mum's question, Leighton confidently replied: "22 times."
Stacey - who is also mum to 13-year-old Zachary, three-year-old Rex, and daughter Rose, seven months - tried to keep a straight face as she said: "Is that some kind of joke?" but she couldn't keep up the joke and burst out laughing with Leighton also sharing a giggle.
The TV star, who shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor alongside Olly Murs, added in a caption: "22 LAPS LATER [crying laughing emojis]. I can't believe it. I told him he's not getting Christmas presents this year thanks to that performance." She then added: "Lucky it's going to a good cause."
It's been a big week for Stacey as she made her hosting debut on a different TV show. She has joined Liam Charles as the co-presenter of Bake Off: The Professionals. She has replaced comedian Tom Allen on the Great British Bake Off spin-off on Channel 4 with her first episode in the role airing on Tuesday night (May 23).
There were a lot of nerves before the episode aired. In a message to her legions of followers prior to her making her screen appearance, Stacey said: "Oh my gosh, I just got a message from Bake Off. I completely forget it starts tonight. I'm so nervous because when you're on the telly, people let you know if they hate you."
She added: "But, if you're watching it tonight I hope you enjoy it and I'd love to know what you think. Unless of course you think I'm a big horse face who shouldn't be on the telly then in that case don't let me know."
But luckily she was whisked off by Mrs Hinch - aka Sophie Hinchliffe. Stacey also shared a video of her best pal, who also has a following of millions thanks to her cleaning hacks, holding her hand while she watched herself on the show on her phone. Stacey penned: "Here we go. Real friends pick you up and take you out when you're nervous and then sit in the back of a car watching you watch yourself for telly" followed by laughing emojis.
