Stacey Solomon has joked she is “having a midlife crisis” as she shared her plans for her first-ever tattoo.
The 33-year-old shared a black and white video on Instagram of a tattoo stencil on her back featuring her oldest son’s name, Zachary.
The presenter told her followers she was “so excited” to experiment with some stencils at her brother’s tattoo parlour – adding he will be inking the final design on her when she returns from a mystery work trip to Paris.
She wrote: “So my brother is a tattooist and he kept the shop open late tonight so we can have a little stencil session. I can’t believe I’m actually doing it. So excited.”
She continued: “Just a little play around tonight while the kids are in bed then we can go for it when I’m back from Paris.”
In another video, she explained: “So, Belle and me [sic] were having a quiet Friday laying on the sofa and I think I want a tattoo. Am I having a midlife crisis or is it my hormones?
“Is it weird to get a tattoo in your thirties? I think I really want one, I’ve never had one before.”
Solomon shares daughters Belle, two months, Rose, 15 months, and Rex, three, with husband Joe Swash. She is also mother to Zachary, 15, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships.
Earlier this month, the Loose Women star announced on social media that she was returning to work just two months after welcoming Belle in February.
As she took her followers through her morning routine Solomon, said: “I’ve got my first job back next week so I just really want to get into good habits so it’s easier.
“I’ve got my first day back next week, and it’s like the craziest job ever. I’m going to Paris. What the hell!”
The Sort Out Your Life host said she was stunned at being offered a job in the French city.
“I really can’t stress to you enough how I never get jobs like this,” she continued.
“I get the ‘come and tidy my house’ jobs, which I love by the way, I’m not mocking it. I don’t get the ‘come to Paris’ jobs.”
She said Belle will be accompanying her on the work trip.
“I’m taking Belle with me because I haven’t worked out the breastfeeding thing yet,” she explained.
