Stacey Solomon hits back at woman who shamed her for getting manicure

Stacey Solomon has hit out with a hilarious response after being "called out" on Instagram for getting her nails done.

Just a few weeks ago, the Loose Women panellist welcomed her new baby daughter Belle into the world, her third child with husband Joe Swash.

The 33-year-old has been giving fans on Instagram an insight into life as a new mother again as she often posts sweet snaps and updates about life at their home, Pickle Cottage.

And recently she was showing off her fresh set of nails that she'd just had done - prompting one woman to message her in protest.

Manchester Evening News reports that Stacey shared a photo of her pretty manicure, showing her long oval-shaped nails decorated with delicate white flowers and white tips, and explained she decided to have them done in a choice over washing her hair.

"Probably should have washed my hair but I've been desperate to have nice nails and just drive somewhere." She added: "It feels so good."

But soon after, she revealed that not everyone had been very supportive of her self-care regime. One follower messaged her to grumble: "Very impractical nails for a new born."

Stacey was able to joke about it as she shared the message and typed in response: "Have a day off Wilma, it'll be ok I promise." Stacey added a crying-laughing emoji and a covering eyes emoji to her reply.

The presenter was still laughing as she clapped back in a video message. "I think they're really practical," she said about her nails. "They're great for tickles, head strokes. Belle's absolutely loving them."

And she burst out laughing as she raised her little finger and said: "This one's really good for picking at bogies. It's the perfect shape." Stacey asked: "Will I end up with poo underneath them at the end of every day? Probably, but I've got a nail brush, I wash my hands. It'll be fine."

Last week she posted a new picture of her beautiful baby. "Oh Hello Beautiful Belle The most special two weeks of you Belle… Today all the boys went back to school & Belle had lots of awake time.

"I think she was wondering where all the noise and craziness had gone i felt like I got some time to properly see her & talk to her today. I love these days when they start to open their eyes more & really look around and begin to show you little bits of who they are and the adventures to come."
