Stacey Solomon will be feeling lonely this week as her second eldest child, Leighton, is heading off for a school trip.
The Loose Women star, is a proud mum-of-five and is kept busy caring for Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, 3, Rose, one, and baby Belle.
Sharing her emotions after waving goodbye to Leighton who has headed off on a trip with his school friends, Stacey gushed over her kind and caring son as she admitted that she felt lonely already now that he has left the family home for a couple of days.
Stacey took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of her son before he embarked on his journey.
The sweet photo saw Leighton smiling before he hopped on the bus and before he set off on his adventure.
"Because it's Leighton's last year of primary school, his year has gone away for the week," Stacey penned alongside the snap.
"I'm so excited for him but I already miss him. The little ones love Leighton so much and he's the funniest and cheekiest boy.
"Can't wait to get him back but hope he has the best time," the proud mum-of-five added.
Stacey's sweet family post comes after the Loose Women star sparked speculation she could be set to take on Phillip Schofield's role on This Morning.
The television personality, 33, left fans guessing she could fill Phil's shoes as she discussed an 'exciting' meeting.
Philip, 61, quit the ITV show on Saturday with immediate effect amid a rumoured 'feud' with co-star Holly Willoughby.
Since his departure, there has been much speculation as to who will take on the vacant role.
Stacey is no stranger to the show, as she has appeared many times to discuss her organisational skills and tips.
Fans now believe Stacey is in the running for the spot as the mum-of-five posted a cryptic message on her Instagram.
Stacey shared a pic of a diary on a fluffy cream rug, as well as writing an emotional message.
On one of the diary pages she had handwritten the phrase: "September 2023!"
She added: “Just had one of the most exciting meetings of my life. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this with you soon. My dream.”
Following the post, fans took to Twitter to discuss Stacey as the next This Morning star.
One said: “After all the #ThisMorning madness, I think they should just ask Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon to be presenters! They would be perfect!”
Another added: “Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon would be brill together as hosts.”
Last year, it was rumoured ITV were eyeing up Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash to join the show's line-up amid all of the backlash surrounding 'Queuegate'.
