Stacey Solomon 'embarrassed' as she apologises for sharing 'unrelatable' home update

Stacey Solomon has admitted to being 'embarrassed' as she shared her latest update on her family home. The Loose Women star regularly shares updates on her renovation at the stunning home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, with her millions of followers on Instagram.

Last month Stacey opened up about suffering imposter syndrome when it came to living in her cottage with her fiance Joe Swash and their adorable family. It came as she shared a photo from her beautiful outdoor spring display, looking out onto the field outside the gates as the sun began to set with her children playing outside.

The mum-of-four then ended up in tears a few days later after being a little bit taken aback by her son's comment as they looked out at what will soon be their very own pool. At the time, Stacey shared a video, panning around the shell of the pool as she and her middle son dangled their feet on the steps.

"Me and Leighton are just sitting in the pool, pretending it's filled," the mum-of-four is heard saying. "I'm literally so excited. I can't believe we're going to have a pool one day." Leighton is then heard saying: "How did this even happen," as Stacey let out an emotion-filled giggle. Alongside the short clip, Stacey wrote: "Me and Leighton are just sitting in the pool pretending it's filled and Leighton just casually making me cry. I think he's trying to see if he can fill the pool with my tears."

Now, Stacey has given an update on the pool situation at Pickle Cottage but ended up apologising for the 'unrelatable' update. She shared footage to her Instagram Story of a team of workers who were busy cleaning the pool, as she and her baby daughter Rose watched on.

"I missed the jet washing I was too late they have done it and started tiling. I can't we believe we have tiles," she is heard saying. But then the 32-year-old went on to admit that it makes her "cringe" when she posts about the pool, as it almost makes her "feel embarrassed".

The TV star wrote: "Sooo many of you asking to see the tiles... But I know this is the most unrelatable content ever so I'm sorry. I do cringe sharing it... I almost feel embarrassed for some reason.

"But you guys genuinely ask about it every single day so here's the update! Pickle Cottage came with this pool but it needed a safety update and fixing and it's finally coming together."

She also explained why work on the pool has taken so long, adding: "The original people who started n it just left the job in the middle of it so it's taken over a year to get to this point so I do get excited to see it near an end."

But Stacey needn't have worried about giving her latest insight as a few hours later, Stacey she returned to her Instagram Stories to share some of the nice messaged she'd been inundated with as many reassured her that she shouldn't be embarrassed about sharing snaps of her pool.

One of the sweet messages included: "Looks amazing so far! Never be embarrassed, you have worked your arse off for Pickle Cottage & we all LOVE you tonnes! Please keep sharing it all with us!"

Clearly overwhelmed by the messages she'd received from her 5.1 million followers, Stacey wrote: "LOVE YOU I honestly love you all so so much. Thank you for being the absolutely best insta family ever. And I'll keep you updated."
