Stacey Solomon has captured her preparations for her first-ever tattoo as she plans a permanent tribute to her five children. The Loose Women star took to her Instagram Story to catch up with her fans ahead of her return to work two months after giving birth to daughter, Belle.
Last week, Stacey shared the exciting news that she is heading to Paris for her "craziest job ever" and would be taking her baby girl with her. "I'm going to Paris! I really can't stress to you enough how I never get jobs like this," the 33-year-old excitedly told her fans in the video as she was seen doing her morning routine.
The singer-turned-TV presenter explained that while she is trying to stop breastfeeding she hasn't "figured it out" yet, so is taking Belle on the work trip. "I'm taking Belle with me because I haven't worked out the breastfeeding thing yet. I'm trying to wean her off a little bit, which is sad, but I just can't do it all," she said.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (April 24), Stacey shared how she was jumping on the Eurostar with Belle on Tuesday (April 25) and was spending the day getting herself organised. She spoke to fans in a video as she unplaited her hair, leaving her with a bouffant curly do as she compared herself to Sandy from Grease when she undergoes her rock chick makeover.
She then followed up the post with a selfie as she pondered whether to keep her new style for her trip. "Really enjoying my plait hair," Stacey typed alongside a crying laughing emoji over the image. "Shall I put the plaits back in a have plait hair for the first day in Paris or am I strange for loving it?" she then asked with more crying laughing emojis.
But before her trip, Stacey spent a late-night evening at a tattoo parlour. The former X Factor finalist shared a black and white video where she could be seen with her hair tied up and her shoulder on display as someone captured the video from behind where she sat.
A tattooist – who Stacey explained is actually her brother – could be seen applying a stencil design to her skin before peeling it off to reveal the word 'Zachary', which is the name of Stacey's eldest son, who's 15.
Stacey told her followers that she isn't actually getting the inking done just yet, and that she and her brother were just practising with the stencils to see what it would turn out like. The video only showed the stencil tribute to her teen son, but she previously shared how her four other children, Leighton, 11, who she shares with a former partner, and Rex, 3, Rose, 18 months, and Belle, who she shares with husband Joe Swash, are to follow.
Over the top of the video, Stacey wrote: "So my brother is a tattooist and he kept the shop open late tonight so we can have a little stencil session." She added: "I can't believe I'm actually doing it. So excited. Just a little play around tonight whilst the kids are in bed then we can go for it when I am back from Paris."
It comes after Stacey took to Instagram earlier this month to ask fans for their advice as she wondered 'am I having a midlife crisis?'. She was having a quiet moment at home with her baby girl Belle when she started wondering if she should get a permanent inking tribute to her brood.
She cradled Belle as she declared in an Instagram Stories video: "So Rose and Rex are at Auntie Gemma's so me and Bella we're having a quiet Friday night laying on the sofa and I think I want a tattoo." Stacey then asked her fans: "Am I having a midlife crisis? Is it my hormones?" And she wondered: "Is it weird to get a tattoo in your 30s? I think I really want one. I've never had one before."
She was curious to know if any of her followers also have tattoos in their thirties. She asked: "Have any of you got tattoos late on in life?"
She continued: "Not that I'm later on in life, you know what I mean. Most people get them when they're really young. Will I regret it?"
