Stacey Giggs 'accuses ex Max George of cheating' with Strictly co-star Maisie Smith

Fuming Stacey Giggs has accused ex Max George of cheating on her with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Maisie Smith.

Stacey - ex-wife of Manchester United star Ryan Giggs - has reportedly told friends seeing The Wanted singer, 33, enjoying a romantic break together is "is like a dagger to the heart", and branded her ex "a lying dog" who is "obsessed with fame".

Max's rumoured new romance with former EastEnders star Maisie, 21, come following his split from Stacey, after the pair rekindled their romance in April following Tom Parker's tragic death.

The singer and Maisie were allegedly "all over each other" on a recent flight from Manchester to Crete, despite their reported attempts to go incognito.

Their rumoured romance has reportedly left Max's Stacey, 43, fuming with her former partner - allegedly telling friends that seeing the two stars "dating publicly so quickly after I dumped him is like a dagger to the heart."

The Sun claims Stacey confided in a pal, saying: "Max cheated on me with Maisie. I asked him about her but he denied anything had happened.

"He said he was like an uncle to Maisie."

"After everything I’ve done for him, I cannot believe he would be so rude and disrespectful. He’s a lying dog. I feel betrayed."

The friend goes on to claim Stacey doesn't "recognise the person" Max has begun and adds how she feels her ex-boyfriend "has become obsessed with fame".

The Mirror have approached representatives for both Max and Stacey.

Max and Stacey recently split for the second time just four months after the pair reconciled their romance earlier this year.

The former couple briefly broke up back in March, but reconciled a month later with Stacey, 42, supporting 33-year-old Max at the funeral of his friend and bandmate Tom Parker after his tragic death from cancer.

However, friends of the couple — who started dating in 2018 — have since said they have parted ways once more but were being "very adult" about their latest break-up.

"Stacey was a rock to Max when Tom passed away and she supported him through it all," a source previously told The Sun.

"They are both being very adult about it and it was as amicable a split could be. Max and Stacey only wish the best for each other going forwards."

In the wake of their split, Max has seemingly moved on with his former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Maisie.

Max and Maisie appeared on the 2020 series of the BBC series – as Max was paired up with Dianne Buswell and Maisie partnered with Kevin Clifton.

Maisie is currently understood to have been single after shutting down rumours of a romance between herself and her former EastEnders onscreen husband Zack Morris, who played Keegan Baker on the soap.

Speaking to Fabulous in December, Maisie insisted: "It’s similar to Hrvy in that we are just very close.

"Me and Zack worked every single day together, so we built such a nice friendship and we meet up.

"Because he’s the opposite sex, people just jump to conclusions that we are an item."
