Stephen Robinson's impressive exploits in Paisley are set to see him nominated for the PFA Scotland manager of the year award.
The St Mirren boss has enjoyed a superb first full season in charge of the club – leading them to a historic first-ever top-six finish since the Premiership split was introduced back in the 2000/01 season.
He's also bagged some notable scalps, not least when the Saints handed Celtic their only domestic defeat of the season so far – a memorable 2-0 win in Paisley back in September.
And the Paisley Daily Express understands that Robinson's achievements are set to see him named as one of four candidates up for this year's manager of the year award.
He will likely have to contend with Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou who has completed the first two steps towards a treble having already clinched the League Cup and Premiership title.
The winners will be announced at this Sunday's PFA Scotland awards dinner at the Hilton in Glasgow.
St Mirren currently sit in sixth spot in the Premiership and are closing in on a record points tally for a season in the top flight. They face Hearts at the SMiSA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
