St Johnstone’s 2023/24 Scottish Premiership campaign will kick-off at McDiarmid Park.
The fixture list, revealed on Friday morning, has handed the Perth club a curtain-raiser against Hearts on Saturday, August 5 (3pm).
The following weekend, on August 12, Steven MacLean will take his players on their first league road trip of the season to face Ross County in Dingwall. Again, it’s a 3pm kick-off.
The only other league match that month arrives on Saturday, August 26 with an away match against defending champions Celtic.
MacLean is taking charge of his first full season as manager and has regularly spoken about his team planning to play on the front foot and with energy.
Perth fans will get a first glimpse of the squad on Tuesday when Saints take on Dunfermline in a friendly at East End Park.
