Nicky Clark has won his appeal against his red card against Rangers.
The St Johnstone striker was sent off in the first half of the 2-0 defeat at Ibrox.
Clark had challenged for the ball and caught Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack. The striker won the ball before his follow-through saw him connect with his opponent.
Willie Collum produced a straight red card for the collision.
However, the decision has now been overturned after a successful appeal from St Johnstone.
A claim of wrongful dismissal over the decision was accepted by a judicial panel at Hampden.
It means Clark will not face a two-game suspension with the sending off overturned and reduced to a yellow card on the player's record.
As a result, Clark will not be available to feature for St Johnstone in the trip to Motherwell tonight.
A St Johnstone statement on the club website read: "Nicky Clark has won his appeal for the red card shown to him against Rangers.
"Clark was dismissed by referee Willie Collum in the 37th minute of the match against Rangers.
"A claim of wrongful dismissal was accepted by a judicial panel at Hampden Park this morning, overturning the decision and cancelling a resulting two-game suspension.
"A yellow card will instead be added to the player’s record for the incident.
"Clark will now be available for selection for St Johnstone’s match away to Motherwell this evening."
After the match, St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson had been left bemused by the red card call.
He said:“I thought the Nicky Clark one was a bit harsh.
“He was getting fouled originally, he has lost his balance a little bit as he has gone to ground. Ryan Jack has come in to him at force, not the other way round. So I just can’t get it, I don’t understand it."
