Sri Lanka's Lahiru Thirimanne retires from international cricket

NEW DELHI: Sri Lankan batsman Lahiru Thirimanne has decided to bid farewell to his illustrious international cricket career after an impressive 12-year journey.

Throughout his tenure, the 33-year-old cricketer showcased his talent in 44 Test matches, 127 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and 26 T20 Internationals (T20Is), having made his debut back in 2010.
