KOZHIKODE: When the Super Cup draw was announced, all the talk revolved around the Group A clash between Kerala Blasters and Bengaluru FC on April 16. But in just two matches, the third team in the group that flew under the radar, I-League runners-up Sreenidi Deccan have emerged as the dark horses.
After holding BFC to a draw in the tournament opener, Sreenidi did one better on Wednesday by shocking local favourites Blasters 2-0 at the EMS Corporation Stadium, Kozhikode on Wednesday.
