Solutions

1:B - In 1988. It remains the only major trophy the Netherlands have won., 2:D - Ireland won the game 22-7 but they only scored three tries, narrowly missing out on a bonus point., 3:A - Kane has scored 54 goals for England, 18 of which have been penalties. That’s more penalties than Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker combined., 4:B - Hunter has enjoyed an incredible England career, making 140 appearances, winning 10 Six Nations titles and lifting the World Cup in 2014. , 5:B - At Musgrave Park, the home of the Munster rugby team., 6:C - Özil won La Liga with Real Madrid in 2011-12. That Madrid team was sensational, scoring 121 goals in the league alone. Three of their players scored more than 20 goals in La Liga – Karim Benzema (21), Gonzalo Higuaín (22) and Cristiano Ronaldo (46!). José Mourinho was their manager. So much for parking the bus., 7:A - His connection with the club goes back even further. When asked about his first visit to Selhurst Park by the club’s website, Hodgson said: “I was only six so it would have been in 1953 or 1954. One of my earliest memories is being taken to a game and sitting on the crossbar at the Holmesdale Road end with my dad holding on to me. You would be hoping that someone would kick the ball behind the goal and you might get a chance to kick it back!”, 8:D - Ronaldo has scored more goals for Portugal than the combined total of England's top two scorers – Kane (54) and Rooney (53)., 9:C - There is no VAR in the league so Farouk showed some ingenuity. After watching the replay he decided to disallow the goal. Sadly for him, his bosses did not approve and banned him., 10:B - The 4.2-mile course starts near Putney Bridge and ends near Chiswick Bridge, taking in a. nice view of Craven Cottage along the way., 11:A - They are still in the Champions League and German Cup; they won the Supercup; and they have only lost three games in the Bundesliga – their main rivals for the title, Borussia Dortmund, have lost twice as many games., 12:B - Barcelona are the only team to have won both the men's and women's Champions League – but they did not do it in the same season.
