It's that time of year again - the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award is set to be broadcast after yet another enthralling year for British sport.
With the hiccups of England's World Cup quarter final against France nothing but a distant memory now, sports fans can begin to concentrate on one of the most hotly-anticipated events of the year as 'SPOTY' comes to town.
