Swedish bottom side Orgryte have admitted there is interest in Celtic-linked defender Michael Parker, but refused to confirm an offer has been made.
Celtic have made just one signing in the summer transfer window so far (Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain), though they have been linked with a number of defensive prospects.
Former West Brom stopper Parker has been scouted by the Scottish champions after moving to Swedish football at the start of the year.

The 21-year-old, who is valued at £1.5 million, has impressed despite his club in Gothenburg falling to the bottom of the league.
And Orgryte sports director, Pontus Farnerud, has confirmed clubs are poised to make a move for their star man. He said, "There is interest in Michael. Clubs have contacted me.
"He has a strong profile and possesses qualities that make him attract interest, but at the moment, all focus for both Michael and the club is the match against Kalmar this weekend.
"Have there been any offers for him? No comment."
