The SpongeBob SquarePants Crossover Event is now live in Brawlhalla. With this, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy are now in the game as Crossover fighters. That's not all and since this is the first ever Mythic Crossover, it means there are even more features that have been added to embody the original character. Players can also look forward to a lot of new content like a new Sidekick, new Emotes and Avatars, and even a Bikini Bottom map.
Meet the Fighters
For the new fighters, let's start with Bikini Bottom's favorite fry cook SpongeBob SquarePants. He is a Mythic Crossover for Rayman and as the first ever Mythic Crossover for the game, is more than ready to karate-chop his way for the win. In the brawl, he makes use of the Kah-Rah-Tay Gloves (Gauntlets) and a Krusty Krab Spatula (Axe). His catchphrase is "I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!"
Patrick Star meanwhile is an Epic Crossover for Teros. While he may not be the smartest fish in the ring, he is SpongeBob's best friend and an expert when it comes to bubble-blowing, napping, and Wumbology. He uses his Magic Bubble Wand (Axe) and Jellyfishing Net (Hammer) to knockout enemies. His catchphrase is the philosophical "Is mayonnaise an instrument?"
Finally, there's Sandy Cheeks who's an Epic Crossover for Cassidy. This thrill seeker from Texas is also a master inventor to boot. In the game she uses her trusty guitar Nutsy (Hammer) and her Net Guns (Blasters) to achieve victory. Her catchphrase is "I'm hotter than a hickory-smoked sausage!"
Other New Content
In this latest Crossover Event, Squidward also makes an appearance as a Handsome Squidward Emoji. Players can also use his Clarinet as a Weapon Skin. Added as well are the classic SpongeBob memes as Emojis and even a Clarinet Emote. There is also a Bubbles Emote which, when used, produces one of three random shapes which are a large bubble, an elephant, or Bubble Buddy.
The Flying Dutchman also takes part in this event as a Sidekick with new Avatars that include Krabby Patty, Doodlebob, and Gary the snail.
Brawlhalla is free to play on various platforms that include the PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Android, and iOS.
