A children's football match descended into chaos after a knife was allegedly pulled on a parent following a dispute at the game.
Shocked onlookers described the dispute as heated after the alleged incident which happened during the Warner Rangers' match with Townsey Inter at Botanic Park in Wavertree, on March 19.
It is reported that a "confrontation between the referee and spectators" led the the Under-10s match, which kicked off at 11am, being abandoned.
