Michigan State football has extended an offer to a big-time running back prospect from the state of Maryland.
Four-star running back Iverson Howard announced on Saturday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. He hails from Gaithersburg, Md., and plays for Quince Orchard.
He ranks as the No. 27 running back and No. 279 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 9 player from Maryland.
Michigan State is the 15th school to extend an offer to Howard. He also holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Maryland, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
