The Spain World Cup 2026 squad didn't include a single Real Madrid player when it was named by Luis de la Fuente. It was the first time ever that it had happened but it didn't last much longer.

World Cup 2026 is well underway but Spain's tournament squad will gain its first Real Madrid player after the group stage by virtue of Marc Cucurella's move from Chelsea, which will be completed on July 1.
