Spain, Turkey, USA, Bulgaria are some of the countries named as the best value holiday for Brits, according to new research.
As Covid travel ease around the world and the UK, international travel is back on the card for many.
And many Scots will be looking to make up for lost time since the pandemic forced airlines to ground fleets and then testing requirements added hefty costs to holidays.

Now, a number of countries are allows Brits in without the need to show a Covid test if they are fully vaccinated, but it is always worth checking your specific destination's entry requirement before booking as rules can change quickly.
According to the latest data by the Post Office, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, USA and Portugal have all been listed as destinations where Brits can get the best value on holiday.
36 countries were surveyed and compared on a range of holiday must-haves such as the cost of a cup of coffee, a three course evening meal for two, and a bottles of beer of glasses of wine.
Here are the top three cheapest holidays found.
Turkey
Experts have spotted that while the pandemic forced prices up in many destinations, others have seen a rapid fall.
In Turkey, the collapse of the Turkish lira has pushed prices drop by 37 per cent year-on-year.
Marmaris is a popular holiday hotspot with its stretch of beaches and turquoise ocean. Families can enjoy the water parts and family-friendly resorts too.
Researchers looked at the pricing for eight items you would typically buy in a day, including insect repellent, beers, wine, three course meal and the total came to just £26.13
Bulgaria
With costs not too dissimilar to Turkey, Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is becoming a popular budget friendly destination for sun seekers.
With a coast line on the Black Sea, Bulgaria is known for offering affordable getaways with cheap hotels, restaurants and bars nestled within the resort.
Portugal
The Algarve is a popular choice for Brits. The Mediterranean coast pulls us in when we are in need for some warmer weather and sunshine.
Europe continues to dominate the top three and Portugal’s Algarve is again cheapest in the Eurozone – with costs 25 per cent lower than the Costa del Sol, the data revealed.
But the top ten list does venture away from Europe, and if you're looking to go further a field it is worth looking over the pond to Orlando where prices have fallen by 22 per cent over the last two years.

Nick Boden, Head of Post Office Travel Money said: “It will pay dividends to invest time in holiday homework because many people won’t have travelled abroad in the past two years. They need to be aware that prices have risen sharply in some destinations and fallen significantly in others. We advise making a destination shortlist and comparing costs before booking a trip.”
