Holidaymakers heading to Spain have been issued a warning in the wake of an extremely hot summer.
Spain, France, Italy and Greece faced temperatures of 40C over the summer with wildfires breaking out across the countries, forcing thousands to flee their homes.
Now, despite thunderstorms, Spain could be battling three more months warmer and drier conditions amid a drought. This comes after Spain was forced to switch their beach showers off the preserve water.

While some areas of Spain have had rainfall, thunderstorms are battering crop fields with warnings issued in the Aragon region.
Foreign travel advice have warned that flash flooding can occur resulting in damage to property, infrastructure and travel disruption. Holidaymakers can check weather warnings from Spain’s meteorological office (AEMET) before travel and follow the advice of the local authorities.
As LiverpoolLive reports, The EU's Copernicus programme said in a report for the month of August: "Warmer and drier than usual conditions are likely to occur in the western Euro-Mediterranean region in the coming months until November 2022."
Countries around Europe are facing drought warnings with conditions worsening in Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania and Spain.
In Malaga, 57 beach showers were replaced by foot washes for beachgoers. Mayor of Velez-Malaga, Antonio Moreno Ferrer said: "It’s not an easy decision to take at the height of summer with our beaches full of locals and visitors and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this can cause.
"But we’re facing a critical situation and any measure that can help to lessen the effects of the drought has to be adopted, starting with local councils setting an example."
