Soybeans are posting 9 to 10 cent losses in the front months on Thursday. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price is down 9 1/4 cents at $12.31 3/4. Soymeal futures are back down $3 to $8.30 at midday, with Soy Oil futures 25 to 32 points higher.
Weekly Export Sales data from USDA showed just 549,377 MT of soybean sales in the week of 10/1, which was on the lower side of traders polled by Reuters looking for a range of 0.45 to 1.2 MMT. That was a low for the short marketing year and 40.25% below the same week last year.
