Southampton host West Brom in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final tie tonight.
For Russell Martin’s Saints, the goalless draw at The Hawthorns last weekend to open the tie was a case of job done - given the Baggies’ wide disparity between their home and away form.
West Brom have won just one of their last seven road trips although both sets of fans will be aware that simply anything can happen in the play-offs.
The tight first leg offered little clue as to who will be facing Leeds at Wembley at the end of the month, with the Whites cruising to victory in their second leg against Norwich on Thursday.
But it promises to be a fascinating night on the south coast as one of the Championship’s best attacks hosts one of its stoutest defences.

Neither of these teams have set pulses racing with their performances in the final weeks of the campaign, nor in a tame but tense first leg.
It promises to be another tight one but Southampton have the greater attacking threat to grab the vital breakthrough.
