City’s impressive win over Chelsea on the weekend kept alive their hopes in English football’s other cup competition but it is in this tournament they have truly excelled under Pep Guardiola, lifting the trophy four times.
Southampton, meanwhile, also clocked a win in the FA Cup as Nathan Jones looks for a boost to their fight for survival.
Tonight’s game will be followed by the draw for the Carabao Cup semi-finals, which is also on Sky Sports.
