Southampton have sacked manager Nathan Jones after just eight Premier League games in charge as there is another managerial change for Everton's relegation rivals.
The 49-year-old was appointed as Ralph Hasenhuttl's successor in November after the Austrian was relieved of his managerial duties. But now after just 14 matches in charge on the south coast, the former Luton Town manager follows his predecessor through the exit door.
His final match came in a 2-1 defeat at home to Wolves as their fellow strugglers came from a goal behind, with a man disadvantage, to hand the Welshman a ninth defeat. He picked up five wins during his time at St Mary's but the only one in the Premier League came at Goodison Park against Everton.

In a statement released by Southampton, they said: "Southampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men’s First Team Manager Nathan Jones. First Team Coaches Chris Cohen and Alan Sheehan have also left the club.
"First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will take charge of training and prepare the team ahead of next weekend’s game against Chelsea."
A Jan Bednarek own-goal created an avenue back into the game for Wolves before Joao Gomes completed the comeback for the 10-men Midlanders.
The defeat sees the Saints return to the foot of the table, meanwhile, Wolves move five points clear of the Blues into 15th thanks to their win.
Pressure has been mounting on Jones in recent weeks as Saints fans have vented their frustration at their current manager. With their Premier League status at risk, Southampton fans hijacked their club's social media posts with a strong message for Jones.
