Three South Lanarkshire stores offer plentiful 1p food bundles for children to families struggling with the cost of living during the school holidays.
For one day only, on Thursday, June 29, Cathkin Convenience Store in East Kilbride, Day Today Whitehill, and Agnews Family Shopper in Blantyre are offering a 1p goody bundle to support local families stocking up their cupboards for the school holidays in the face of the current cost-of-living crisis.
The bundle has a combined RRP of £10.79 and includes five bananas, Robinsons cordial 900ml, a six-pack of crisps, Kellogg’s Squares x2, a Loaf of Bread 800g, Jam jar 300g and Jaffa Cakes.
This deal comes from Snappy Shopper, who is teaming up with even more local retailers across Scotland to offer yet another themed bundle just in time for the kids’ school holidays.
Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper, said: “Speaking to our retailers, who know first-hand the difficulties so many families are facing in the current climate, it has been so important to do everything we can to help and reconnect communities by making a difference with our money-saving promotions.
“We are so excited to offer yet another bundle at a time that we know can be particularly expensive for families.”
