South Lanarkshire Council has received an application to build holiday chalets in Lanark.
The application received by the council on October 12 plans to build three chalets for tourist accommodations and a guest house near St Patrick’s Road in the town.
Plans will also include an integrated house for the owners and the creation of vehicle access and 10 parking spaces.
The site where the holiday accommodation is planned to be built is currently an unused field.
No neighbourhood consultation has been carried out as of yet and the deadline for determining the application is December 16.
