A concerned Edinburgh pedestrian has shared a photo of a road beneath a bridge in the south of the city being inundated with water.
The image shows the aftermath of the non-stop rain that has poured down on the capital and caused floods that have disrupted travel routes for Edinburgh residents.
Alexander Bisset showed Woodhall Road in Colinton, which has a caravan parked on it, submerged in water.

He says that under the bridge, that is close to the entrance to Campbell Park, had been flooded and that he made the grave error of trying to wade through the water in just his trainers.
He added that the depth of the water was above his ankles and he warned other pedestrians to bring their wellies if they wish to pass under the bridge.
Alexander Bisset shared on Twitter: “FLOOD ALERT #Edinburgh If going for a walk/driving on #WoodhallRoad #Colinton area to #JuniperGreen area.
“Under the bridge near the entrance to Campbell Park is flooded, as I found out wading through with trainers and water above ankles.
“Never seen it like this before. Wellies required.”
Yesterday shocking pictures showed cars trying to navigate brown murky water on Ferry Road that had built up due to what was believed to be blocked drains and intense rainfall.
Cars could be seen stuck in the middle of the junction under the red bridge at Drylaw with water almost coming up to the bottom of their windows.
LNER have said that services between the capital and Aberdeen and Inverness will be disrupted as they look to deal with the damage caused by the last few days.
It is supposed to remain dry throughout Saturday afternoon but rain showers will return on Saturday evening and the morning of Sunday 20.
Heavy rain will come in periods throughout next week with the MET office stating that Monday to Friday will be wet.
