South Carolina church leaders charged after allowing convicted child sex offender to work with kids, congregation ‘furious’

Leaders of a South Carolina church have been arrested, and their congregation is furious after it was discovered they’d allowed a convicted child sex predator to work with their children.

As reported by NY Post, leaders at Pawleys Island Community Church have openly admitted they were fully aware that 70-year-old Warren Spence Perry had been convicted of a sex crime involving a minor just three years before they allowed him to volunteer around children at the church school. Perry was even given a specific parole condition requiring him to avoid being in proximity to children.
