Sound City Festival has announced the headline artist for its 2023 event, along with a host of other artists who will be taking to the stage.
Singer-songwriter Maisie Peters will be headlining the festival, following on from an impressive year which has seen her support Ed Sheeran on tour and sell out London's Shepherd's Bush Empire. The 'Not Another Rockstar' singer's debut album, 'You Signed Up For This' reached number two on the official charts in 2021.
Maisie Peters' appearance at Sound City will be the singer's only North West show on her current tour. Taking place from April 28 to April 30, tickets for the festival will go on sale at 10am on Friday, October 28. Tickets can be purchased online via the Sound City website.

Joining Maisie on the line-up will be Beren Olivia - a UK rising alt-pop star with 16 million streams and acclaim from Radio 1's Jack Saunders. Scouse band Courting released their debut album 'Guitar Music' to rave reviews, and will now be performing a hometown show at the festival.
Sound City Festival will take up residency at the new venue of Mountford Hall, Liverpool Guild of Students on Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30. Another new addition for 2023 will be New Music Friday, which will take place in venues across the city on Friday April 28.
New Music Friday will showcase the talents of some of the world's best emerging acts and up-and-coming musicians. Sound City is also proudly the UK lead festival for Keychange, the global movement to champion gender equality in music.
As part of the Keychange initiative, Sound City has pledged to be gender balanced - reflected across its diverse festival line-up, expert conference speakers and creative minds. The festival will feature fashion retailers Tessuti and scotts as joint headline sponsors of the main stage.
