The skippers of the Sydney to Hobart's two reigning champion yachts have some trepidation about letting their sons onboard this year - not least because of the "tragic" way the 2024 race panned out.

Indy, the 18-year-old son of LawConnect's Christian Beck, is gearing up for his first Hobart as the 100ft supermaxi targets a third consecutive line honours win.
