A supercomputer has chosen Tottenham forward Son Heung-min as part of the Premier League team of the season. The research comes from BetVictor, who ranked each player's individual performances to find out the best team from 2021/22.
It comes after an outstanding campaign for the forward, who finished as the joint-top scorer in the league on the final day with a brace against Norwich. The 29-year-old scored 23 goals and got nine assists in 35 appearances, helping the side confirm fourth.
Discussing his striker, Antonio Conte said: "I said ok, but before we need to get a place in the Champions League, then if there is the possibility to help Sonny to become top scorer in the league, then we are very happy. And he scored twice, and he could have scored more. But at the same time, I want to underline the big effort the team made for Sonny.
